Roudy Lafortune

Originally from Beaumont, Roudy Lafortune studied environmental science at Université Quisqueya, then took training in logistics and project management. His career led him to work at Beaumont city hall and with Save the Children International, where he helped coordinate operations in several communes of Grand’Anse.

At the Centre d’animation paysanne et d’action communautaire (CAPAC), he takes part in a food security program, notably organizing field activities and distributing financial aid. Co-executive director of the Sildor Foundation in Beaumont, he brings this practical experience, his sense of organization and his listening skills to the team.

His attachment to Beaumont also shows in his community activities. He chairs the “De Beaumont” sports association and handles public relations for the community organization “Alo Baz”, which brings a coffee festival to life every year.
