Privacy policy

The Sildor Foundation complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and with PIPEDA.

Information we collect

• Contact, volunteering and music school registration forms: name, email, phone number and message.
• Scholarship applications: information about the student and their family, and supporting documents. Attachments are sent by encrypted email (TLS) and are not stored on the website.
• Donations and sponsorships: contact details and amount. Payments are processed by PayPal and Zeffy; the Foundation never has access to card numbers.
• Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent.

Use and retention

This information is used only to respond to your request, assess scholarship applications and manage donations and receipts. It is never sold. The copy of forms kept on the website is deleted automatically after 365 days.

Disclosure outside Quebec

Some providers (Cloudflare, Google, PayPal, Zeffy) may process information outside Quebec.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the person in charge. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
