Concrete action.
A scholarship opens the school door; ongoing support helps the student move forward. Our commitment doesn’t stop at the school door: we support young people so they can stay, progress and succeed.

School scholarships
Enabling children and young people to continue their schooling.
School fees are paid directly to the schools chosen by the parents or guardian. One week before school starts, each child also receives school supplies: a backpack, stationery and textbooks.
Primary school: about CA$300 per year. Secondary school: about CA$400 per year.

Homework help
Consolidating scholarship recipients’ learning and preventing grade repetition.
Set up in 2022 to ensure the academic success of the children in our care, the program will have its home in the future Beaumont multipurpose community centre.

Excellence and perseverance awards
Recognizing effort, encouraging progress and celebrating success.
One excellence award per school and one award for the top student across all schools, open to every student; one perseverance award per school for young people in the program who stood out despite obstacles.

Post-secondary studies, digital and skills
Broadening access to post-secondary education and digital skills.
So that young people no longer have to leave their commune to continue their studies after secondary school.
Since 2024, in Beaumont and Corail, the number of ISTÉAH scholarships has grown from 8 to 26. One more student attends Université Notre-Dame, for a total of 27 post-secondary scholarship recipients.

Microcredit and MUSO
Strengthening parents and guardians to support families’ economic stability.
In the areas where we work, to foster the empowerment of women, often single mothers, we provide funds at a very low interest rate that allow them to carry out income-generating activities. Together, these women organize themselves and set up MUSOs (mutual solidarity groups).
SOSAKA
Music and personal growth
A space for learning, discipline and personal growth throughout the journey.
This program aims to help young people thrive in their community, succeed in school and develop as a whole.
