Mémine Alexandre Jacquet
President
Co-founder and Chair of the Board of Directors
Originally from Beaumont, Mémine Alexandre Jacquet has lived in Canada since 2001. She keeps close ties with her homeland, where she returns regularly. These visits and her conversations with families fuel her commitment and the projects she helps build.
A graduate in organizational communication, arts and translation, she has more than twenty years of experience in the Canadian federal public service and as many years of volunteer work. She now works in the revision and editing of administrative and legal texts.
In 2017, she co-founded the Sildor Foundation to help children and young people in Beaumont and Corail pursue their education and broaden their horizons. She takes part in developing the programs and rallies partners around this ambition. The creation of the Music School in 2024 reflects a conviction dear to her: learning also means discovering your talents, nurturing your creativity and gaining self-confidence.
