Alix Nicolas

A social work technician, Alix Nicolas has worked since 1999 with young people and families in a youth protection context. A graduate of the Cégep du Vieux Montréal, he works at the Youth Protection Directorate of the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

His career has given him solid experience in psychosocial support and in engaging families. Used to working with schools, community organizations and the health and social services network, he stands out for his communication skills, analytical ability and sense of organization.

Alix is one of the seven founding members who established the Sildor Foundation in 2017. As public relations officer in Canada, he puts his interpersonal skills and collaborative experience to work for the organization’s visibility and its ties with the community and its partners. His commitment continues a career devoted to the well-being of young people and families, in line with the Foundation’s mission: fighting poverty through education.
